2013 with Happy English.ru

Every day a new package!
Our project with American students is also coming to the end... What a nice surprise they have prepared for us! The box weighs about 6 kg and there are so many interesting things from America. Everybody has found not only a handwritten letter from the friend but a nice souvenir as well.
Thank you America! We will be waiting for the next academic year. Our collaboration is TO BE CONTINUED...

The end of the project...
Cultural swap is a great thing!!! Unfortunately our project with Turkish friends is coming to the end. We have learnt some new interesting facts about that country. Our memories about the wonderful experience we had will stay with us. The small gifts sent by our epals will remind us that our friendship is something real and not just a dream.

Italian School Day
And again we have got letters from our Italian epals!!! They decided to tell us about their school day and they even sent us a timetable for the last term. They have classes from 8.15 to 16.15 and they attend school 5 days a week. Would you like to have the same here?

It is not a hoax!
On the 1st of April I told my students that their photo was published in the American newspaper. And it was not a hoax!
We did get a letter from our American friends with the newspaper article about our collaboration. It was a real surprise!
We are thankful to our American friends and their teacher Yettee Girard who shared their impressions with the reporter. And we would like you to visit www.epals.com . This website has given our students a chance to find pen-friends, to collaborate and learn getting a lot of positive emotions!

Have you tried this kind of presentation?
Both teachers and students have become numb to conventional classroom presentations, where they’re confronted with slide after slide containing too much information in quick, disjointed succession.
My first experience in Prezi...

Hot New Year Greeting from Brazil!
It's the middle of March... But we got warm New Year Greetings from Brazil two days ago. It is a great surprise for everybody because our Brazilian friends sent the package in November. It took the parcel 4.5 month to reach Russia at last!!!
If you are curious and would like to look inside the box, welcome to my Country study page.

Dear colleagues!
Everybody studies a foreign language at school. Perhaps it’s better to say that everybody HAS TO study. The teacher tries to motivate his/her students. How? In different ways- singing beautiful songs, watching funny cartoons, playing special language games and so on and so forth. But it’s not a secret that learning a language is hard work. We can’t only entertain students we should teach them grammar and spelling, rules of reading and wordformation. And we can’t do without drilling. Unfortunately, it’s not so exciting! And only few of the students (VERY FEW! I should say) study language on their own, besides classes using all kinds of resourses. How to motivate students? Can you share your experience? Can you give some useful tips for your colleagues? How to start? What sites can be useful? How do you enlarge your students' vocabulary and improve reading skills? Join the conversation!
